To mark the Journées de patrimoine de pays et des moulins, come and discover the cultural and cheese-making heritage of a small village in the Haut-Jura with a donkey.
Located in Fort-du-Plasne, a two-hundred-year-old chalet is opening its doors to you!
Enthusiastic volunteers will be on hand to welcome you in an atmosphere reminiscent of bygone days and show you how cheese is made and how it works. The focus will be on the use and importance of salt in cheeses.
Just like in the old days, we'll be taking the white gold to the cheesemakers on donkeys: salt!
What can we expect?
A short cultural walk where you take the time to wander around with a donkey to discover an area, a history, an authentic place, full of rural memories...
