Every Friday during the summer holidays, from 2.30 to 4.30 pm, take part in a fun and informative themed visit-workshop in the museum's educational room: items from our collections will be on display for the occasion!
Workshop visit "Spectacles for animals" on 12 April: Did you know that there are spectacles for dogs, cats and even chickens? Find out about their history and function, then make fun glasses for the animal of your choice.
Visit-workshop "Spectacles from the Middle Ages" on 19 April: Did you know that the first spectacles were designed for monks who were copyists? Like them, paint your illumination, a rich and colourful illustration that decorated the texts of medieval manuscripts.
Workshop-visit "Spectacles of the world: a journey to China" on 26 April: Do you know when and how the first Chinese spectacles appeared? Find out about their history and experiment with Chinese ink techniques.
