Our gîte "Le Chamois" is located in a large Jura house in the locality of "Les Combes" near the mountain village of Longchaumois, in the heart of the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park.

Michèle and Daniel welcome you for a relaxing stay and a change of scenery.

For your comfort, we have fitted out our gîte of about 100 m² in a "mountain chalet spirit" with wood, exposed beams, mountain decoration, natural stones, fireplace...

Cross-country skiing: 45 km of groomed tracks in skating or classic. Downhill skiing: ski lifts at the family resort "Le Rosset", ideal for beginners. Snowshoeing: 10 km of marked trails for snowshoeing and walking. Dog sledding at 4 min. from the gîte.

Horse farm at 4 min. Multi-activity zone: Trails open to all (cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, walking...)

Hiking paradise, fishing, waterfalls and lakes area...

Nature lovers, you will follow marked trails, on foot, by mountain bike or by bicycle through the plains, mountains and forests (they cover 70% of the Jura territory) and at the bend of a border, you may see the inhabitants of the forest: chamois, deer, foxes or perhaps even a lynx... .
