Bellefontaine is a small Jura village in the heart of the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park. With its unspoilt countryside and renowned lakes and forests, Bellefontaine is an essential stop-off point during your stay in the Jura Mountains.
Situated at an altitude of between 960 and 1270 metres, the village offers a wide range of activities: cross-country ski trails for all levels (from the green trail for absolute beginners to the black trail for regular skiers), numerous snowshoeing routes, and an unmissable link through the Risoux forest to the village of Bois d'Amont.
Bellefontaine is a real village where you can enjoy all the services you'd expect during your skiing holiday: ski school, equipment hire, play areas, downhill slopes, etc.

- Bellefontaine village: pistes starting at the beginning of the village, ideal for a fun start. Numerous snowshoe itineraries depart from the village. Links possible with the second departure point: Bellefontaine les lacs.
Services on offer: ski pass sales, ski school, equipment hire, play areas, first-aid post, restaurant, salle hors sac, ski lift, tourist information point, floodlit piste (every Thursday, 6-9pm), public transport, toboggan run.
- Bellefontaine les Lacs: most of the cross-country ski trails start from here, and good skiers can ski around the lakes.
Please note: there are very few services on offer, so it is advisable to collect your ski pass in the village.
- Bellefontaine Risoux: starts from the legendary Risoux forest, which then leads to the village of Bois d'Amont, following in the footsteps of the famous Transjurassienne race.

During the winter season, a shuttle bus runs from the village to the start of the pistes.
Downhill skiing: 1 red, 1 green, 3 blue.
