During your visit, you'll explore the 800 m2 of exhibition space and the 2,000 objects on display.
You'll discover how ingeniously the farmers adapted to the harsh, long winters, and the solutions they found to this self-sufficient lifestyle: sustainable architecture in harmony with the environment, know-how, lifestyles, etc.
Visiting the Maison Michaud is also a way of understanding the history of the Franco-Swiss border (how it was built, smuggling, etc.) and the networks of smugglers that were set up during the Second World War.
